Apple's new futuristic, virtually all-glass, Cupertino, Calif. campus could also be lovely, nevertheless it's inflicting some issues for workers.

Apparently, Apple staff hold strolling into Apple Park's nifty glass partitions. And it isn't simply because glass is, ya know, glass: it is as a result of their faces are buried of their iPhones.

Oh Karma, you do have a humorousness!

Bloomberg reports that a number of staff have discovered themselves unexpectedly operating into the glass partitions which are the design hallmark of Apple Park. Some staff reportedly even put post-it notes on the partitions to make their presence extra apparent. However the visible warnings have been eliminated as a result of they detracted from the workplace's modern design.

However let's be actual. Not figuring out that the partitions aren't there is not the issue. It is all that distracted strolling, from the very individuals who made the iPhone!

Apple opened its new company headquarters to staff in April 2017, and a customer middle opened to the general public in November. The development of the campus delivered to fruition considered one of Steve Jobs' last visions for Apple earlier than he handed away in 2011. The spaceship-like Apple Park is crammed with glass "pods" as an alternative of workplaces, designed for openness and collaboration.

It is a ravishing imaginative and prescient. If solely Apple hadn't helped us develop into extra obsessive about the glass panes in our palms, than these within the areas we stay and work in.
