Artist says she got death threats over anti-Trump billboard with mushroom clouds and swastika dollar signs

There are delicate methods to protest Donald Trump. Then there's placing up a billboard with mushroom clouds and greenback indicators that seem like swastikas.

The billboard from artist Karen Fiorito went up in downtown Phoenix on Friday afternoon and (shock!) some Trump supporters weren't too pleased about it. 

"I have been referred to as a communist, a Devil worshiper," she informed USA Today. "I have been informed I am a 'very, very sick individual.' I am unsure what meaning. I have never been answering the telephone. My husband has as a result of he is not afraid to speak to anybody, however he informed me he acquired a pair demise threats this morning."

On Twitter, indignant pro-Trump customers despatched loads of insults Fiorito's means. The artist, who lives in Santa Monica, California, anticipated the backlash. 

The proprietor of the billboard stated the paintings would stay up for so long as Trump remained president. Maybe the commander-in-chief will reply to the controversy after he is finished enjoying a few rounds of golf ... once more.
