Researchers on the College of Tokyo conducted trials utilizing scent to information male moths as they steer tiny robotic automobiles

They positioned feminine moth pheromones on a goal and watched the male moth stroll on a trackball contained in the automotive. Optical sensors translated the motion and steered the automotive in the direction of the goal.
